If the Hunter-Killer represents the most deadly evolution of The Greed, the Greedling is the runt - a Mario Goomba. I wanted something that was disgusting, repellent, and maybe just a little bit funny looking. As with the Hunter-Killer, this organism embedded itself like a larva in the ribcage of a body and grew up around it - essentially using the bones as a lattice.

I know it's twisted, but I'm a really great guy at heart, I promise...!
