I must tell you... as an artist, Critical Role has been a life saver for me. I need a *story* while I work, or something good to listen to that isn’t always music, otherwise I get distracted and wander off in random directions. Critical Role has proved to be the absolute best - the perfect blend of game, radio program, drama and plain old chillsquad hangout. Best of all, it’s LONG, which means that I’ve spent months at a time listening only to Critical Role while I work, enabling for max art time.

Anyhow, I ended up in brief conversation with Liam O'Brien the other day on Twitter, and he said he’d love to see some concept art of his character in the show, his wizard Caleb Widogast 🔥. I figured, “well, I definitely owe this man a great deal for all the entertainment and positivity he’s brought me, he’s a wonderful dude, AND the global marketplace had ground to a complete stop thanks to Covid-19... let's do it!”
